Shoes Have Names exhibition: Jo Cope and Shelter UK

Donations call!

An exhibition called Shoes Have Names will be taking place at the Shelter Shop in King's Cross for part of London Craft Week. It’s a collaboration between Shelter and designer Jo Cope, in which different artists and shoemakers have teamed up with individuals that the charity has helped who had been facing homelessness or bad housing situations to represent their stories. Read more about the project and the designers here.

During the week the shop’s stock is going to be turned entirely red to match with Shelter’s branding, and they are looking for donations of red things to sell (all proceeds going to Shelter). So, if you have any nice red clothes, jewellery, homeware, books, records etc, and are in the area, donations would be much appreciated.

The exhibition will take place from 30th September to 7th October in Coal Drops Yard and is free to visit – there will be several other activities going on for Craft Week in the area too.

Our Practice is proud to continue supporting Shelter following our year-long partnership.
