Today, the landscape studio hosted the first of a series of lunchtime walks to visit nearby sites of interest. Matt Simpkins led the tour to Here:East, looking at the new public realm which he helped deliver with a previous practice. The bold and simplistic hard material and planting palettes worked really well – we saw lots of interesting details which we can learn from on our Bartlett Park project. We particularly liked the single-species blocks of ornamental grasses!
