As part of delivering the wider Monmouth School vision, the refurbishment of the Grade II Listed School House building sensitively upgrades the old Monmouth Boys boarding house. The refurbished building houses modern classrooms and student dayrooms to support the School’s change to a co-educational school model.
The original layout of classrooms has been reinstated and areas such as the grand four storey staircase have been restored to their previous grandeur. The project includes new double glazed timber sash windows and MVHR units to assist with modern standards of ventilation and noise reduction, providing high-quality teaching facilities for the school.
