We are pleased to have two projects shortlisted for this year's Housing Design Awards!
Melfield Gardens, our intergenerational housing project in Lewisham for Phoenix Community Housing is the first of its kind to be delivered by a housing association in the UK and has been recognised for its innovative approach to community life.
It provides 30 independent-living homes for people aged 55+ and two shared-living flats for students from Goldsmiths, University of London, setting a benchmark for intergenerational living and offering affordable, sustainable housing for different generations.

On the Project category, our design proposals for the regeneration of the Achilles Estate was also shortlisted.
Designed in partnership with WR-AP architects and ZCD Architects leading the youth engagement, the project was shaped through an extensive, collaborative planning process led by Lewisham Council, and informed by residents at every stage.
The new development will deliver 278 low-energy homes alongside 1,411 sqm of commercial and maker spaces. The design delivers stronger, safer and more visible connections to Fordham Park, enhancing residents' access to play, activity and nature.
