Award wins for three Oxford projects

Sara and Vicky H attended the ceremony on Tuesday night for this year’s Oxford Preservation Trust Awards. We had a very successful evening with Rose Hill Community Centre Site winning an OPT Award in the new building category, and our projects at Edgecombe Road and Cumberlege Close also receiving commendation certificates.

To give you a bit of background, the OPT are ‘independent guardians of Oxford’ and they ensure that the best of Oxford’s past is preserved by involving themselves in conserving buildings across the city. These award wins are a great result after four years of work which has seen the completion of the first six sites (of ten) that we are designing for Oxford City Council as part of their first phase of new council house building.

A huge thanks to all those who have worked so hard on these three sites in both the London and Manchester studios, including Sara, Vicky H, Lewis, Melissa, Tim, Wilson, Rose S, Joanna L, Sean H, Rebekka, Martina M, Rob F and Jessica R. We just have to work out where to fix the metal plaque on the building now!
