Our scheme creates 42 new mixed tenure homes with a large commercial space on the ground floor. The development is located on a challenging corner site of Old Kent Road and Ethnard Street. Our proposal reinforces the corner of the site with an L-shaped building that ranges from one to six storeys. The building responds to the complex urban, environmental and historic conditions of the adjacent buildings by adjusting the form and scale to engage positively with its most immediate surroundings.
