Visiting the Venice Biennale

I recently had the chance to check out this year’s Architecture Biennale in Venice, curated by Chilean architect and Pritzker Prize winner Alejandro Aravena. This year’s broad theme – Reporting from the Front – prompted a range of interpretations from exhibitors, but all looked at the forces influencing society and how these may inform the built environment above and beyond the simple act of meeting a brief.
