The Bellway City Solutions consortium, with Levitt Bernstein acting as lead design consultants has been chosen as the preferred developer for the Unity Square redevelopment in central Ilford, London.

The project will rejuvenate a vacant brown field site between the existing high street and the A118, Winston Way trunk road, with a new town square and theatre/performance complex adjoining the existing town hall as its centre piece.

The remainder of the site will be given over to the creation of 500 new homes and retail with an emphasis on cafes/restaurants to encourage the revitalisation of the evening economy in the town centre.
